  It's close enough to lunchtime, so I'll post some pics from Nanbantei:

  Asparagus wrapped in pork, chicken rolls

  

  Okra wrapped in pork, shitake mushrooms

  

  Chicken with leeks, meatballs

  

  Chicken liver, quail's eggs

   

  Ginko nuts

  

  Prawn and grilled beef in bean sauce

  

  I was stupid enough to presume that their bento was available at night as well...that costs only half of what I paid for last night ($40). There's little else in the way of ramen/udon as yakitori is their speciality.

  just got an email from the mad boss...

  it's about KPIs..

  my dy director asked her to give inputs for THIS AFTERNOON'S meeting with the No.2

  my mad boss asked us to "discuss" with her at 2:15 later...

  thing is, the current KPIs are ridiculous.. the proposed ones are outright idiotically insane...

  i'll go in and tell the mad boss later "you can lead a horseface to water, but you still have to give it plastic surgery"

   

  wrong wrong... sorry.. "you can lead a horse to water but you still call it Camilla"..

   

  uhh.. ARGH!! wrong.. well, partially... okay okay.. "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink"

  in another news, HR told us tat lady boss thinking of giving increment in end april or may instead of the usual july...

   

  catch is, we are to sign a bond for a year... tis is her way to curb the high turnover...

   

  well depending on how much she is giving me... i'm not gonna tie myself up for a miserable $100... *roll eyes*
