Eng Wah Cinema - better now?

  Hey forum, 

  I'm planning on organizing a special event for my gf in one of the cinemas - something like a movie marathon cum buffet or whatever for just the two of us.

  I need your opinions on Eng Wah Cinema... (since its relatively empty and available on weekdays), anyone has any prior experiences good/bad with Engwah that I should know? Or am i better off choosing like Cathay or GV.

  Gf ar?? can come to my motel, full private room with bathtub, 40inch HD LCD, mit aircon with full silent mode, tons of Starhub and mio Movie on demand. We provide candle light dinners and breakfast at the room service.

  Eng Wah very old already, the seats may not be as comfortable as compared to the newer cinemas like GVvivo.

  Apart from the old seats, I totally love the feeling of having the whole cinema to me and my gf  except that the cleaner auntie will seat together behind us and watch the movie with us.

  They have upgraded already.  Not so bad.    Unless you are referring to the Pearl Centre cinema.

  I refering to westmall EW.  

  I still like the GV vivo seats  very comfortable till I can fall asleep....

  My fav are Cathay and  Lido Shaw Cinema.      Don't really like GV cinemas.

  Eng Wah and Cathay are not bad.      The Eng Wah at TP is good.
