Sun Jian was the one that killed Hua Xiong.......................not Guan Yu................
the part where he killed 6 generals while storming 5 passes to rejoin Liu Bei...............didn't happen at all...............
Zhao Yun anytime better lah..................more reliable...............

lol actually i'd think someone like chow yun fatt would carry off the role better. That fiery yet phlegmatic persona of guan gong suits him. Donnie Yen should play Zhao Yun. Haiz...anyway, i won't get to watch it on big screen. Not in sg.

i love all the action flicks....but too much without showing the infallible sides of the hero is never a good film...the truest personality of the God of War in flesh and blood

Donnie Yen is a good action actor if it was about fist fights.
His 锦衣� was rather boring.

Think casting donnie yen in the role is a mistake. He doesn't personify the invincible aura of Guan Gong. And his wielding of the knife could have been better, no thanks also to the lack of cinematography and sound effects.
Even that small cameo of Liu Bei sucks. Looks like a ruffian who's put on the wrong armour.
Disappointing draggy movie.
