Z-Day or Zeitgeist-Day is an annual, global event
day which occurs in the middle of March, each year. The goal is to increase
public awareness of The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project; organisations
promoting a transition to a sustainable social system known as a "Resource-Based
Economy".
For the first ever Z-Day in Singapore, we're
hosting a screening of the documentary- Zeitgeist: Moving Forward,
followed by a discussion/ QnA. We hope that this dialogue will go a long way in
improving the general awareness of society.
Zeitgeist: Moving
Forward was released on 15 Jan 2011 and screened in more than 340 venues,
across 60 countries, in 30 different languages, making it one of the largest
independent film releases in history. The Singapore screenings were held at
Sinema Old School from 15-25 Jan. www.zeitgeistmovingforward.com
