The Road (2009)
A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind and water. It is cold enough to crack stones, and, when the snow falls it is gray. The sky is dark. Their destination is the warmer south, although they don't know what, if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing: just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless cannibalistic bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a rusting shopping cart of scavenged food--and each other.

Unthinkable is not a movie, you'll watch right after having your dinner. Its not Saw, but it might be enough to grip the weak hearted. It is more shock than it is gore.

Just don't bring your kids, or go with girls, really, they can't take the shock. A certain scene redefines going to the dentist.

i don't understand. y can't they just publish a research paper on the ineffectiveness of torture then call it a day? y go through all the hassle of going into production n making a movie? for cheap shock value? might've worked if it's black n white set in the 1940s but today, it doesn't work as a psychological thriller. it's not gruesome n i find it quite pointless... try Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. love it!

I think the only gruesome part was when he tried playing dentist. I hate dentists.
