First of all, I enjoyed the movie... BUT it was a huge disappointment over all (so is the first movie). Firstly, there was zero nostalgia while watching the show, the closest thing you could match in the movie to the cartoon were the names of the Transformers. Devastator looked like a dog, he was cooler in the cartoon!
Secondly, Spielberg added too much drama, cut the crap and add more kick ass scenes! AND! JESUS! REPLACE MEAGAN FOX! SHE SUCKS! Shes overrated, for the sake of the male side of the human race... stop thinking with your dicks.
Thirdly, the movie focused too much on the humans then the robots, the heck!? This is TRANSFORMERS not The Sam Witwicky movie. -
This movie is for the 80s generation boys who are probably 30-40 years old now.
That's why there's all the wham, bang, boom and Megan Fox.
Now imagine if JJ Abrams or Quentin Tarantino did the movie.

Yah man. Giant robots, Megan Fox, a great soundtrack. What's not to like?And I like the fact that the focus is on the humans, not so much the robots! A good approach in my opinion.

This is really a awesome summer blockbuster movie! IT GOT EVERYTHING!
Pack full of action, explosion, fights, excitement, sexy MeganFox, sexy woman, family drama, Megan Fox, romance, brotherhood, loyality, Megan Fox, patriotism, visual effects, audio effects, Megan Fox, drama, comedy, slapstick, suspense, thrill and of course last but not least, Megan Fox!
There's more robot scenes compare to the first one and more robots showcased! The fighting scene between Prime and the decepticons is just awesome! Devestator kickass! The explosion scene is amazing, i could even feel my seat shakes!
The movie is a little long but definitely worth it! IMHO better than the first.
My rating: 9/10

I liked it - I saw it on opening day and I really enjoyed seeing SO MANY bots. Especially since you could see their faces really well this time.
I collect the toys and am obsessed with anything Transformers so I did alot of research before I went to see Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen. I found a great site where you can trade online Transformers trading cards www.tf2cards.com totally interesting to see the stats etc on the bots they introduced in this movie. -

plot not very good, but who cares?
us fanboys only went to watch the robot, and explosions and metal clanking
but the thing i hate is that the fallen died so easily, wtf
and the primes talking to sam, is just gay
but sam's mom, damn funny

I can only hope that this time round...
a) I can actually tell which transformer is fighting which transformer.
b) I don't have to watch transformers more than once in the cinema.
c) Damage to my hearing and vision will be kept to a minimum.

watched it, loved it. I'll be picking up the bluray dvd when its released!
the soundtrack album is pretty good too. good selection of songs

basically the action was awesome. Just 1 thing I and my friends agreed. The front part is too long, the last part is too short. Like gigabyte14 said, fallen went down too easily.. Maybe he should not have chose the name as The Fallen..

Actually I expected maybe the autobots to come up with one of their own combined transformers to fight against the devastator decepticon.
After all, Optimus Prime got whacked.
But they chose to resurrect OP instead.

I wish all the autobots could combine their powers and whack Michael Bay... he destroyed Transformers the movie! He's the real decepticon disguised as a human being.

Yeah but I think the role she's given in this one, especially the manner in which she was filmed, bordered on insult. Not her fault though, Bay's got repressed teenage fantasies.

I think this is a really lousy movie. Disappointed I am. I was looking forward to it as it is supposed to be one of the biggest movie. The hype was big, it is breaking all sorts of box office records, but the reviews and critics are gonna come down hard on them.
Seriously, there are at least 12 robots I did not know who the hell they are by the end of the show. I am watching TRANSFORMERS, not some random robot movie. Too much soap opera drama really, like the part that Sam went to some sort of heaven and saw the late Primes. WTF! We dun need that in a TRANSFORMER movie. And what was Megan Fox's role again in the movie? Could have put a dog beside Sam and the movie would still be the same.

Terrible show...They just get one coward to at least make this show a lame one. Otherwise, its just plain boring.

I guess the designs have to change of cos from the original transformers. But the thing that I am angry about is that in Transformers, EVERY robot has a name, an identity, a characteristic etc. But in the transformer movie, the robots became like an army, esp the Decepticons. It is like Random robots. In my opinion, this movie has destroyed the essence of Transformers and that is, the attachment we felt towards individual robots.
