Synopsis:
Based on the BBC mini-series of the same title, a team of investigative reporters work alongside a police detective to try to solve the murder of a congressman's mistress. "State of Play" will explore issues in investigative journalism and the relationship between the press and political figures.
I would say the best thriller for this year so far. The International doesn't even come close at all.
Excellent directing and acting from the cast and crew (except Ben Affleck i think) to deliver a plot that is deep and full of twist. A journalistic thriller that engages you and takes you together on the ride thats makes you questions the facts, objectivity and intergity of the characters involves. Who is playing who? Who is using who?
Please give your mind a break from the mindless blockbusters playing now and feed you mind with some brain food by watching this movie that is sure to surprise you towards the end.
No reviews for this one? I'm wondering whether it's worth catching...
a must watch
