Movie synopsis from Tribute.ca "When his teenage daughter is kidnapped in Paris, a former spy (Liam Neeson) sets out to find her at any cost. Relying on his special skills, he tracks down the ruthless gang that abducted her and launches a one-man war to bring them to justice and to rescue his daughter."
Looks thrilling. I'm a Neeson fan! Anyone going to the sneaks tonight?
very nice plot.
but the actions were kinda exaggerated.
bloody effin good movie..
Wah is it? I have been wanting to watch. Must see then! Plus Liam Neeson is a great actor.

This is not the only title that was delayed from our shores for close to a year.

Maybe the distributor here don't find it worth the time, effort, and money to bring it in lor. Then as the time drags, it gets cheaper then they bring it in lor, then can at least break even easier or make a small sum lor. I dunno, its my guess, our market so small, earn what fark?
Great movie, this one. Makes me wonder if Star Wars: The Phantom Menace would have been a much better movie if he acted like this.
"I don't know who you are.
I don't know what you want.
If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career.
Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you.
But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."
Nice movie. Damn nice, very kinetic and quite stylish.
I love it how the whole point of the chase is lined out clearly, and simply right from the start. 3.5/5 for an action movie.

Nah, i think this movie is another Man On Fire (Denzel Washington). Now the movies are all rehash and rip offs. Hollywood is running out of ideas.

Dude,
Thou shall not confuse Tony Scott the wanker (man on fire, deja vu and other rubbish movies) with Luc Besson the god (Fifth Element and Transporter series).

How can u say that , Tony Scott directed quite groundbreaking movies like Enemy of The State, Deja Vu, and i think Man On Fire is pretty original.

Dunno man... as far as I can remember, it was quite disturbing seeing him portray albert kinsey a few years back.

I'll give him brownie points for camera techniques (whatever). But as far as story telling goes, he's a piece of crap. And that poc disease is spreading to Ridley Scott the brother.
In fact, I don't know anyone who can be bothered paying for a movie ticket to any tony scott movie. They simply download, observe and study.
Have fun skipping Taken and have fun watching Taking of Pelham.
this show damn nice sia..i watched it few days back with my dad..
just finished watching... not bad...
anyone realised there was an SIA plane in the background when he was sending his daughter to the airport?

Uh so? Quite a few movies show SIA in the background. No one else takes notice anyway other than aircraft enthusiasts.
