  Must you be legal age at that date to watch for example a NC16 movie or do they count by which year you're born in?

  By date. I remembered last time when I was just 1 day before turning 16, the person didn't allow me to watch NC-16 show at all.

  Depends if on the ticket person, if he/she is lazy anything also can. If he/she is relax then maybe by year... if it is an old person... die die by date!
