I just watched it this morning and I got one thing to say....
It is the best movie of the year, not even "the dark knight" can compete with it. The action are good, it's breath-taking. The story are being brought out very well. The acting of each actors/actress are fantastic and some of them are new comers in the circle. I strongly recommend this movie, I even plan to watch for a second time.

On the 1st night of my chalet, my buddies and I originally decided to watch Twilight, but we left the chalet a little too late and seats were sold out while we're still queueing. Since "The Day the Earth Stood Still" sucks, the only choice left was Ip Man, and it turns out to be one of the best movies I've ever watched. I'm glad that we came late for the movie tickets.
10/10.

off topic: many ppl pronounced it I P Man.. lol.. like VR Man or Spiderman.. eg. the GV ticket salesperson lol..

Actually should name it as Ip Mun then will not confuse so many people. But then Ip Man do capture people's attention more.
Superb fighting from Donnie Yen as usual. I wonder how Tony Leung's version is going to surpass that in terms of action.
Anyway, how true is the story in the movie?
