Resident Evil: Degeneration

  Resident Evil: Degeneration, known in Japan as Biohazard: Degeneration (�イオ�ザード ディジェ�レーション, Baiohaz�do Dijenerēshon^?), is the first full-length CG animation feature based upon the Resident Evil series of games. It was announced by Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan on October 29, 2007.

  Unlike the previous Resident Evil film trilogy, Degeneration is set within the same universe as the original video games ^[1] taking place "7 years from Raccoon City". The teaser included with the Resident Evil: Extinction DVD and Blu-ray Disc confirmed the appearance of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.^[2] The film made its premiere in Japan on October 11, 2008 at the Tokyo Game Show ^[3], and will be released nationwide one week later on October 18, before coming to DVD and Blu-ray in North America on December 30, 2008.^[4]

  I just went to the cathay website and gv website, I didn't see anything about this movie being shown despite it is just 4 days to the release of the movie. Anyone got an idea whether this movie will come to singapore?

  This movie will only be shown in theaters at the film festival in New York City and in japan, straight to DVD everywhere else.

  just watched it, the graphics is nice but overall its quite average mainly for fans of RE esp if u like Leon or Claire.

  Well the character and environment are modeled perfectly though not as good as the ones in Final Fantasy VII but still good. The only thing that bugs me is the way the lips moves it doesn't really sync especially in the english dubbed version,  the character's facial expression when they are talking have a ''dead - pan'' feel to it and weird animation when they're walking. Other than that it's a great movie to enjoy especially for the Resident Evil or Biohazard fans

  Not bad this movie. I agree, it would be better not in CGI.
