     Frankly speaking last time many years ago , there was a very similar show using a real robot and the movie was called Short Circuit . It has part one n two due to its popularity . That robot was in fact very similar to this wall e robot too . It saddens me to see pixar trying to make a quick buck by using old ideas amid other directors whom like to do remakes of other non american movies .

  => ...  the movie takes it even farther and has Wall*E essentially date rape the sleeping bot - he forces open the plate on her body where her hand resides and pulls out the appendage so he can hold it...

  I thought it was a very good show...I like the short clip before the movie also.

  Pretty worth it, can go watch it with the kids as a family movie =D

  Cute... and with a good message to boot. Thought Pixar did a brilliant job of giving robots emotion even without full facial feature. BUT i'm not sure if you are right with the copying of ideas from old movie though.
