SINGAPORE: Starting this Thursday 3/4, there will be a 50 cents increase for movie tickets at Golden Village cinemas.
Golden Village Multiplex has announced that it will revise its ticket prices at its nine outlets.
The organisation said the price increase is a result of the current market situation and rising costs.
However, Gold Class and Cinema Europa ticket prices, movie promotional
packages and rates with banks, students and other promotional partners
will remain unchanged.
Other organisations like Cathay Cineplex and Eng Wah Organisation have no plans to increase ticket prices.
April Fool!
it's real lah. u think channelnewsasia so free go play april fools with u meh?
think last week memo came out liao
Anyway, it's 2nd liao... not april fool day liao...
Anwyay, seriously expect the hike to come cos nothing in SG stays the same price for long period...
But I think the cinema should revise on their sitting spaces... really packed like dunno what... not enough leg room to allow people to go to their seat without disturbing those who had already sitted...
Saw a movie in Bangkok during a recent trip and their leg room is like even if you totally extend your leg when sitted, you are unable to touch the seat infront...
Damn comfy seat, spacious, great sound system... it's not gv by the way... though there are branches there in thailand...
Cathay raised first...
now GV....
EW will follow suit soon one lah.
more reasons to watch on the net or download....
even since adso disappeared last year, now not much DVDrips to download liao. :-(
