depends. this is the anime that turn millions of youths into otaku (well sort of). if u are a fan u will enjoy it. for non fans, u must at least like mecha anime to enjoy it. for girls i don't think they will enjoy it as much as we fanboys do.

it's totally different. this movie is part 1 of 4 of "The Rebuild of Evangelion". part 1 to 3 is a retelling/ re-imagine of the TV anime. part 4 will be totally new ending.
to me end of evangelion is kinda disappointing.
