  The film is set seventeen years before the first X-Men and will center on Wolverine's early encounters with Sabretooth, William Stryker and the Weapon X program as well as Vietnam War flashbacks and a love interest for Wolverine.
  
  The director is Gavin Hood, a fresh director with only one hollywood film (Rendition) under his belt. his most notably achievement is winning an oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2006.
  
  Hugh Jackman will once again reprise his role as Wolverine. other actors include Dominic Monaghan (from lord of the rings, LOST), Will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas) and also GAMBIT!
