  why i see someone keep promoting the show like it's very jialat like tat

  is it true all along? the show is funny but the people behind it all resort to self-promotion? it's a shame to local productions if u dunno when to stop and not overdo it.

  I just received news from the movie company, My movie has come in 2nd place in box office! This is really very good news to me. Thank you all for your support!

  Before that, I was really very worried...

  Finally I've had 4 days of meaningful Chinese New Year.
  These few days, I had been going around to quite a few cinemas to observe. Very happy that many audiences were there to show their support. I even exchanged new year wishes and greetings with those audiences and also received a lot of feedback from them. Every one feels that all 3 new year movies have their own characteristic, and I'm definitely not the worst!

  Some movie reviews have a love-hate relationship with me. The words they had used to describe me are really hurtful. I won't dare say my movie is the best, but in view of so many supporters, I will definitely not produce a single rubbish movie. My movie is definitely not like what some reviewers had said, rubbish and atrocious.

  I won't say much here, neither will I defend myself too much. However, I definitely have the right to all of you here, that my movie is not made slipshod. I didn't spend 3 years and USD20 million, neither did I have a superstar singer and USD10 million in budgets. My production costs was USD90,000. And of course I had some budgets (although not a lot) for advertising and promotions. And all I have is the believe in me that I won't produce rubbish. Thank you all for your positive word of mouth, and that has helped my movie achieve 2nd place in the box office sales (previously some media had ranked me 3rd place).

  But I still feel very lucky. In the midst of being slammed and hurt unreasonably, I have to thank those of you who had spoken up for me. And these people keep asking me a question, which I find very hard to answer. CJ7 has some scenes very similar to my old movies, so how come those oppressive movie reviewers didn't seem to notice them. Kung Fu Dunk was a complete rip-off from Shaolin Soccer. So why didn't those movie reviewers pin-point and criticise them, but instead repeatedly aim their criticisms at a local movie.

  I really don't know how to answer.

  My movie definitely has room for improvements. And I will surely make that extra effort in my next production. I am still learning, and I am also open to all your feedback. However, I will not accept unreasonable and disrespectful insults.

  Jack neo said "CJ7 has some scenes very similar to his own movies," it doesnt mean dat jack neo accusing CJ7 to copy his movies. comeon! i wonder which edmw moron dunno how to read, n going around twisting his words.

  some edmw netizens' behaviour sometime can be like stompers. luckily sgf pple r more mature n like tis movie.

  only people who like this movie is mature? i dun wan to twist your words, but i find it hard when you choose to put them next to each other. u're devaluing the preposition, seriously.

  i find this movie funny, but the director ought to do a better PR job.

  let's just say, if he continues on this track, he's going to irk everyone....more so if he becomes so transparent to comments. if he gets harping over his achievements now and in the past (like the National Day Rally speech) rather than build on it and do something refreshing, if he keeps thinking people will always support his movie by going through a tried & tested method after so many movies, people will get bored.

  well... we could at least give him some negative feedback n comments on how to improve his movie.

  fann wong ah.  i have no idea but i guess she wants to try out different styles and probably enjoys working with j-team.  i think she's paid quite normal compared to the rest of the cast if i'm not wrong.

        I also like jack neo previous albums , the older the beter esp his 1st and 2nd version of army songs . Not to mention the SQ117 hijack rap very funny .

  Becos it's Malaysia Company insist want Fann to act in this movie.. cos she's most popular SG actress in Malaysia
