am i the only one that thinks this movie is so good its a class of its own?
This movie does'nt need any gun toting. all it requires is will smith and a PRETTY clever script.
the part where he used the Shrek script was just brillant.
About the ending: he cold have thrown the bloody bomb out of the crack of the glass. but, he is still a Legend, cos he developed a cure.
its a very deep movie, not for action buffs. -

another reason.. the strongest bull head of the dark seeker seems to be intelligent and strong.. i wonder if he throws it thru the crack.. will that bull take it and throw it back inside ?
plus.. its more to a hero to sacrifice himself rather than throwing the bomb thru the crack and he lives.. and he wil not be a legend if he lives
most movie might sound illogical.. but the way that it is illogical that it makes the movie a bit more perfect..
Honestly, i found that movie is quite nice.. but a little bad intro of how the virus wiped out the whole world.
The most interesting part is when his dog enter the dark room or something..
you can see his skill in act during that time.. so pure.. and when he saw all darkseeker turning their back on him.. that is omg so scary and interesting..
but why he need to cover the lights with his hand ?

not quite possible for the monster to be that clever yah, the only reason i can think of now is that his entire family, including Sam has died, the cure is found, so there is no reason for him to live anymore. they are clever enough to pull the dummy outside and set a trap for him using the method they learnt from Robert earlier.
They are clever enough to destroy the big flashlights and also making a hole from the roof for the rest to get in
They are still human but only they are infected by the virus and hunger for blood. but this movie is kinda mysterious and interesting to watch.. its unpredictable like any other normal movie that u can predict what is goin to happen or how it ends..
I love it when he has his own defence.. i tot it was just the lame wooden block to cover his house. bout how he planted the bomb and the flashlights is not shown earlier prior to the darkseeker attack.. which makes it interesting
TO me, its still a good movie. -

Just watched it yesterday.
French scholar Michel de Nostredame predicted that doomsday will befall on 2012 which was probably why 2012 was choosen to be the date for the movie to be set. It's a very depressing movie. But I read that someone said the ending was reshot. If the ending is that Robert was confronted by the dead for killing them, it'd be more closer to the original version by R. Matheson.
The whole movie seems to explore into the bible's book of Job. Whereby everyone you know is dead. Everything you have build is gone. Your enemies are all over you. And where is God at this moment.
The loss of Sam was really heart wrenching. I like doggies very much. Even though she was only a dog, yet Sam was Robert's only companion since the apocalyse. With her death, Robert was overwhelmed by his grief to avenge the death of his dog that he'd go head on in a SUV against the more powerful and outnumbering dark seekers. He was simply prepared to die.
My friends and I were discussing about parts of the movie like the never ending supply of fuel, generators always operate for electricity, unlimited supply of food, ammo.
Also talked about the difference between the original and the movie. The ending was rather arupt. But we all enjoyed the movie. This movie requires an extremely good actor and Will Smith fits the bill perfectly. His performance compensated the storyline loopholes. -

cuz hes been living for a long time since the apocalyspe he sure found any way to survive during day
guns = gun shop. Us has plenty of this shops
fuel = petrol station.. plenty of gallons avaiable
food ? only some tins.. not fresh food.. fresh meat only avaiable if he managed to kill any deer or edible animal that he can find during day.

WATCH AVP 2 - DAMN NICE but only its a bit too dark to see which is predator or alien in the versus
WATCH NATIONAL TRESSURER 2 - a very good movie.. its not as complicated as in the 1st one but the hidden message in 2nd is very clear and they make it a real good movie
erm.. any nice ghost movie ? i would like to watch "The House" of Thailand horror movie coming 3rd jan (even in kl, its been air before 3rd Jan) -

How did the woman manage to kill so many mutated fellows by herself while Will smith was trapped in his upturned car? Then at Will's house, suddenly she become not-so-invincible liao? -
