just went to the cinema to watch it. though the movie is short, but the fighting was awesome. damn rambo went back to his old house.

This is yet another Sylvester Stallone comeback movie, which in fact was conceived before the return of Rocky Balboa. On one hand, I find it kind of sorry that Sly had to dust off old cobwebs and revive his iconic heroes from the past, reliving his glory days. On the other, it made for an interesting situation to see if the characters of his can withstand the test of time. With Rocky Balboa, he went back to basics and was in part quite reminiscent of the original Rocky. And Rambo 4 no doubt had been drastically updated for today's audience.

While filming along the border of Thailand & Burma old Sly KPKB about the lives of those people living there and promise to tell their unfortunate story.....so what you you think? short movie but definately better than some movie which drag here n there( eg Cloverfield...)
The action was not so much as before but more gore in replacement.
By the way, some of the scenes was being censored...eg someone head chop off, ppl kanna disembowel by rambo..
Overall if u are looking for some relaxing movie, can try this as no need to think too much just see bodies flying around... -
Wah like that then i better look for " ahem " version . Sg censorship board are helping to promote " ahem " version by censoring parts like this . Wheres the rating , if consider too violent then put adult rating lar . Why censor it then complain pple support pirated .

lol no more lone rambo chiong up hill with 2 aks and unlimited ammo against 100 enemies! now its one rambo with unlimited 50 cal ammo and a turret against 100 enemies and one boat! Classic!

I have just watched the movie.. nothing really spectacular.
But I felt a pinch of propaganda theme.. you know when US initiate some military action against an uncompliant country. You have heartbreak ridge.. invasion of Panama (Thru False flag). Various film depicting Evil Saddam.. Invasion of Iraq. Hotel Rawanda.. when the Tutsi retook US puppet regimes and exec revenge.. the history only started here - It became Genocide. North Korea... "300" Iran.... Same with Serbs... and there's a recent Movie that depicted Darfur crisis.. made no mention of the US sponsored rebels that started it and was doing the same.
Long story short, It's way of conditioning the mess.
In this movie, Rambo 4.. it's about Myanmar (Burma)...and how they were slaughtering Hmongs. Of course, no explaination was given why they were hunted... because these Hmongs were secret army of the C!A.. drug trade and death squads.. who helped US secret war which killed two million Laotian, and planned demise of the Burma Govt. These satelite phone todding Rebels are still active and are separatist, though US has abandon them... the western Media propaganda is still active. BTW, Laos is still hunting them.. yet receives no western attention.. must be the Myanmar's oil at play.
Now, which country wouldn't love a foreign financed secret death squads army led by C!A, who assasinate leaders, terrorist population, wiping out entire villages, kills entire families, rapes and slit them wide open.. eats their intestines.. and is still active ? I'm not surprised if the current Burmese army officers and govy officials have their family done in by them... revenge is sweet. -

I watched it yesterday.... n i must say. Its way brutal! And i love it.. n they make it so justifiable to brutally kill them with the most brutal way possible.

A few things to note. None of that old rambo knife we used to talk about. Now he uses a Machete. None of that AK , m16 , pistol bullshit. I dont know about u guys , but those that have seen Rambo 1 , 2 & 3 will definately agree a few points. in Rambo 4 , he doesnt use non of that pissy rambo knife he used to use. He goes straight for the machete. None of the rifles.. he goes from Bow n Arrow.. straight to the 50 calibre. If u think Rambo with a machine gun is bad enough ... Rambo in 50 calibre is just down brutal. he he.. n u gotta damn strong to rip out a guys adam apple... lol!
Think one of the rambo movies has Guinees world records of MOST EXPLOSIONS n Body counts. he he.. i think Rambo 4 has just as much body counts.
I pity the pirates.... sigh.. they shouldve just taken the money n walk away.. but NO.. they just dont know who they are messing with. he he..

Still waiting for Rambo to come to Japan but yesterday I saw a movie called 'The Marine' good dialogue & action packed but John Cena looks stupid just being himself.....which explains why he opted for the big knife instead of the shotgun from the baddies to continue hunting for his wife's abductors -
