overall, those of u who watched this movie, how would u rate it out of 5 stars?
i'll give it 2.5, at the most 3 stars.
too much sexual scenes, Lee Ann should focus more on the story.
terrible, i watched it on a weekend.. feel that it's really a waste of money. -

the audience i went with.. those sitting ard us are quite light hearted ones..
when we saw that Lao Chao ai si buey si.. laughed..
when we saw the big diamond.. another round of laughter..

Though I dun watch too many movies, I find it not too bad actually....if it was the uncut version.
I watched the cut version, before they announced the uncut one...pace is very nice, though a bit slow. Tony Leung and Tang Wei's eyes expression sibei zai... If the eyes can kill, it'll be something like their eyes.
I think the sex scenes represent their love developing....from rough sex to tender, loving sex. It's a pity I missed those out.
Not going to pay again just to see that though. -

Lust caution is actually a very serious movie. It explores the pain of Tony Leung as a secret agent and Tang Wei as a patriot. A lot of emotions are transcended through the sex scenes and how many realise that?
All I can say is, if one laughs during the movie, it isn't wrong but it certainly is queer. -

But Tang Wei's acting was somehow not good enough to display the emotions. i believe some scenes are specially made to lighten the atmosphere a bit..
like the part when she was choosing diamonds.
emotions trascended in the sex scenes? well, i believe there are.. but i find the sex scenes all very SICK... really gross me out.
and ya, it was really irritating when i kept hearing 'wah.. wah....' coming from a lady sitting beside me.. tmd she wah throughout the sex scenes lor.
recently a piece of news also reported that a couple imitated the sex position in the movie.. but the gf end up losing a lot of blood.. and they wana sue Lee Ann.
one scene that really made me really pity her was when she was telling Lee Hom and the other man how Tony digged into her body and heart.. that he can only feel alive when she bleeds or cries.. the ending is so sad.. she failed her mission.. she was so soft hearted that she din bear to let him die, but she and her sch mates died instead. -

worth it, its tang wei 1st show after alll and tony acting is 1 of the best in this buisness.
