My very first encounter with Aliens Versus Predator, was actually a coin operated arcade game some more than 10 years back. For 20c for 3-5 chances (depending on how the owner configured the machine), you can choose between a 2 Predator Warriors, or 2 humans, to go up against an Alien infested land, where you score points with multiple Alien kills, and get to use some of the cool weapons (always like those killer discs) and combo moves to finish off opponents. Needless to say, who would want to use the human characters, when you can play Predator?

first movie was bad, second was worse.

Actually, i thought it was better than that Will Smith "Last man on earth movie" That movie was one of the worse i have seen last year. And i do watch a lot of movies... For a moment until the middle of the show, I was beginning to wonder if there was only one 1 actor in the whole movie when he started talking to the dummies...
But full house leh just now... and you know Cathay 1 very big right... But not bad lah... After that went to see fireworks...

Appreciate my wifey for balancing our viewing choices, I don't complain about those stupid chick-romance movies or that Titanic and Pretty Woman are considered "good" and she let the fanboy in me enjoyed my AvP2 and SM3. And appreciate her even more when just behind me this young lady was complaining endlessly about what a stupid movie it is while the date tried his darndest to defend it and said he rather enjoy it.

the movie is disappointing because aliens are predators are supposed to be sci-fi characters, set in space in the far far future.
this one is et in modern day earth. and to make it worse, they have the aliens killing teenage boys and girls. WTF! this is kinda like those B-grade teen slasher movie. -
to me, its like remake of Resident Evil 2..

i wanna complain ah! movie dark is ok. parts of the movie really messed up. predalien come out like at most 20mins in the whole movie. aliens killing the teenagers, going to elec plant, being led around like dogs by predalien. rain like free also, the god in the movie got problem with rain.
