Being a human in Singapore is tough. Being a ghost is even tougher. And five ordinary Singaporeans are about to find that out.
A rollicking horror-comedy from top Singapore horror film director Kelvin Tong, Men In White takes on the scary from a completely new and hilarious angle.
Revolving around five cowardly and clueless Singaporean ghosts – a badminton player (Shaun Chen), a gangster girl (Ling Lee), a housewife (Alice Lim) and two hip-hop rappers (Ben Yeung & Xavier Teo), Men In White tells of their misadventures as they stumble through the bizarre rules of ghost-hood.
Trouble arrives in the form of a photographer ghost (David Aw) who joins out motley crew of undead and instigates them to wreak havoc on unsuspecting humans. The living fights back and our ghosts find themselves on the run and embarking unwittingly on a hilarious quest to strike fear into hearts of Singaporeans - a tribe more afraid of losing, failing and breaking rules than ghosts.

Singapore's first horror-comedy in its film renaissance, Men in White (some say this has political connotations, but seriously, there is no direct jibes at the ruling party, contrary to what some might think). We're used to watching Jack Neo comedies, so it's quite easy to spot some similarities, but I guess that's in our "Singaporean-ness" that we like to jibe at public policies, and do so in coffeeshops and such, which is a set that rarely finds itself not being featured in our films.

Men In White - Thumbs Up!
I recommended this movie to those who wants 85 mins of good laffs. espcially so if you understand cantonese and hokkien. watched it on a friday afternoon at vivo in a hall packed with teens, everyone was really cracked up by MIW. after movie people in toilet still laffing at jokes.
If u wanna watch a movie with plot and analyze every scene then MIW is not for you, but if you enjoy Mr. Bean, Stephen Chow, Borat, than MIW is up your alley. GO CATCH IT.
1st Singapore movie that I will be watching twice in Cinema cos my gf heard good things from her frens about it and now I watching it again with her this week. but honestly i know i will still enjoy it the second time, the jokes really cracked me up. -
Nice to watch, but preferably watch it on Monday, cheaper.
