The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier (Transporter 2, Unleashed) and feature new cast members in the title roles like Edward Norton as Bruce Banner aka the Hulk and Liv Tyler as his love interest Betty Ross.
The story will forcus on Bruce trying to avoid capture long enough to cure the condition that turns him into the Hulk. the villain for this installment is Abomination
target release date is June 2008.

the original movie earned $24.3 million on opening day in the US and $62.1 million on opening weekend. however it sees a 69.7% drop during the second weekend. With a final North American gross of $132.2 million it became the largest opener to fail to earn $150 million.
it only manage to take in $113.1 million overseas as well.
i was quite disappointed in the movie. feels too serious. hopefully the sequel do better. -

actually for the 1st movie, Edward Norton was the original choice to play bruce banner the hulk but dropped out.
and having liv tyler play betty is great. she's chio. -
latest news. actor Tim Roth will play the villain Abomination's alter ego, Emil Blonsky.
Blonsky is a KGB agent who deliberately exposes himself to the gamma rays that caused Bruce Banner to morph into the Hulk. Blonsky has upped the dosage, making him larger and stronger than the Hulk, but unable to change back to human form. He blames Banner for his problem, and makes his best efforts to destroy the Hulk. -

the director this time is Louis Leterrier, a young and relatively new director who only directed 3 films so far, The Transporter, Transporter 2 and Unleashed (aka Danny the Dog).
lets hope he do a good one on this movie. *fingers crossed* -

New update. Oscar winner William Hurt has signed on to play Gen. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, the man who has dedicated his life to capturing the Hulk, who is also the father of Banner's love interest, Betty Ross.

It seems as though the stars of the first film have all shunned this sequel.
After all, it was Eric Bana who played the Hulk then, and Jennifer Connelly who played Betty Ross. -
