28 WEEKS LATER, the follow up to 28 Days Later, picks up six months after the rage virus has annihilated the British Isles. The US Army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin...but they could not be more wrong. As the first wave of refugees arrive, and a family is reunited, a terrible secret is revealed: The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever.

I love movies like these. Dawn of the dead was one of my favourites, I never got bored of watching it.

Just got back from watching it... awesome zombie movie... scary in a "run for your life"kinda way...
the stars have to run from the zombies and the Americans... and I mean run... I never watch 28 days later... I was like ZOMG!!! THE ZOMBIES CAN RUN!!!

the way the movie shot is unbearable (shakey...like handheld camera)
the plot has lots of holes (e.g. nobody guarded the infected wife)
And totally no character development at all......
should be renamed "Two pesky kids who destroyed london"..... -

its a zombie movie... plot need be so strong meh...
and of course got character development... the characters at the starting of the movie are alive and by the end of they movie, they are dead... + now the kid is saved so got a chance to make a cure for the virus in the next movie...

Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo takes over from Englishman Danny Boyle in the followup movie to the latter's excellent 28 Days Later, and has come up with something worthy. Should a third movie be made and doesn't screw up the good work already done, it should make a pretty neat trilogy. I enjoy the legendary George A Romero's zombies in his movies, though I have to confess I prefer those in the 28-later series, as their constant running pace provides a shot of adrenaline when our helpless victims try in futile to escape, and somehow in that reckless speed, make them truly terrifying (ok, cos I can't run, and if caught in that kind of situation, I'll be dead meat).

its a terrible show. The first one was way better (although also not that good), the best recent zombie flick is still Dawn of the Dead.
This one is so shot full of plotholes, dont get me started. so many things that dont make sense that i wanted to cringe. if u want to watch it just leave ur brain outside the theatre and u might enjoy it. for myself i did not care about the characters half way thru the movie already.
completely unbelievable how it breaks out again. yeah no guards, no security cameras, haha who can believe that? but guess thay had no other feasible idea to jumpstart the outbreak.
these are not zombies actually. they can be likened to rabies-infected dogs, who go mad and their bites can infect other dogs. -

the score fot 28weeks is an original composition but most of the music have been reused from 28 days...i wanna buy liao the OST for 28 days..

What I don't understand is how those infected can differentiate between those who are infected and those who are not.
Why can't anybody who is not infected pretend to be infected so that they won't get bitten?
