NANA 2 is the sequel to NANA, the adaptation of the manga. Little is known about the film at this time, though it is expected to pick up from where the first left off after Komatsu Nana meets Trapnest, a fictional band in the movie.
Nana Komatsu is pregnant with her first child, but Nana Oosaki seems to be stroke by it, since it is not the child of her friend Nobu, but of TRAPNEST's bassist Takumi. Both girls struggle through life, and try to keep their friendship from falling apart.
There have been many casting issues in the production of Nana 2. Aoi Miyazaki has declined to reprise the role of Komatsu Nana. She has been replaced with actress Yui Ichikawa. Ryuhei Matsuda has declined to play the role of Ren and has been replaced with Nobuo Kyou. Also, Kenichi Matsuyama, who portrayed Shinichi Okazaki, has been replaced by Hongo Kanata.
not sure whether this movie will be showing in sg anot.. but i m a big fan of the prequel! love it! pity some of the cast is not the same anymore..
