“One Last Dance” is a dynamic fusion of Eastern and Western sensibilities, populated by the characters of a Hong Kong
gangster film and the aesthetics and dialogue of New Wave European cinema. It blurs the lines between different film genres,
slipping from a gangster film to a slap-stick comedy to a love story.
The meta-theme - the belief that we structure reality by linking events through their causal relation - is broached through
an unlikely love story between a killer and a waitress. Ultimately, "One Last Dance" is an international film that entertains
across borders while challenging the viewer to contemplate the way they see the world.
