  Just got back from the premiere for Death note 2 @ GV Grand and it was not as nice as the 1st movie, maybe its the fact that they r trying to cut short on the second arc as in the manga and try to make it end quickly

  people who have not seen the manga might like the movie more as compared to those who have read them as the manga is more detailed and suspenseful. but it's a little slow paced and long winded.

  i went too. even though they tried to cut it short, it still lasts 2 hours 20 minutes.
  
  i just felt that the ending is a bit sad lah...
