GV charges $1 for advance booking. that's too much!

I like the fact that their seats almost all allows for lifted arm rest so that couples can easily adjust the seats...
But their popcorn's standard varies... Drinks can be quite diluted. The advertisements before the show can easily come up to 30mins... So if you're watching a movie at 9.30pm? Prepare to start only at around 10pm... Their sound system also like not that good.

Personally, I think this is like not quite a honest organisation? I mean their selection of movies to screen... Sometimes really old and lousy shows? They also often seems to have less movies to choose from... But their popcorns not bad lah....
Cathay
I LIKE their poporn!! Their movie prices often more reasonable compared to the others.. Sound system also quite good and advertisement not too long.. Also they often have more 'unique' movie types to select from...
