why sg ban some movies?

we already got R21,M18 and NC16 ratings but how come we dun get to see all the films that we want?
Surely they know we can get pirated copies of d/l from internet if we really want to see so why ban them?
Its kinda dumb that they ban Kill bill vol 1 but not vol 2 ,if some scenes are really undesirable they can always cut them(of course not too much). Maybe we need a new rating for more mature folks like 25+

because they have to stick their nose into everything and even adults; are never mature enough for them.

And me remembered that when Singapore was screening Charlie's Angels 2, the cinema operators needed to cut and edit the scene with the belly dancing on MDA's advice on the second day of the screening... -
Was it really banned??? I thought it was just sold out in Singapore...
Anyway, Kill Bill 1 is before this NC16, M18 and R21 huha right... So, I think MDA just don't want to look back at old shows and Unbanned them... -

It was banned due to racism issue...
But managed to get the DVD from US, Scarlett's body is damn power!
