  Food-stall owner, Gang-du walks out to the crowded Han Riverbank, when he suddenly sees a never-before-seen "something", hanging from the Han River Bridge, and moving. The fascinated crowd around him start taking shots with their phones and digital cameras... until the "thing" climbs up onto the riverbank and begins to slash into the crowd. Gang-du has just enough time to witness the Creature snatching his daughter way and disappearing back into the river.
  
  Chaos reigns over Seoul. The Han River area is under quarantine. Gang-du receives a phone call from his daughter Hyun-seo, frightened but very much alive. Against all odds, with the help of his remaining family members, he plans to infiltrate the forbidden zone near the Han River and rescue his daughter from the clutches of the horrifying creature.

  but the trailer looks quite winded and doesn't show much of the monster.

  Just watched it today....
  I would say there are funny parts now and then..
  and when the monster appears, its not that scary as
  compared to a zombie or ghost that kind.....
  i was enjoying myself and laughing and so were the ppl in the cinema
  quite nice for the funny parts 4/5 stars

  I watched dawn of the dead for the 5th time on cinemax just now, and I still enjoy every min of it.

  nope, it's not a horror movie, but a monster one
  so there's a lack of jump scares

  quite an unusual movie, mixing horror with comedy. probably signalling to the korean govt that they too obedient to the Americans, who make lots of blunders too.

  BTW, do you guys find the part when the little boy pee in his pants infront the moster funny? Coz I find this moment was suppose to be tensed but people in the cinema for some reason find it amusing.... Kinda ruins the feeling....

  Singaporean when watching movie in cinemas, tends to laugh at every little thing, no matter whether it's funny or not.
