  Steven Spielberg will begin filming the fourth Jurassic Park film next year.
  Producer Frank Marshall says the script has been finalised: "It has a good script now, so we should have that one up and running next year, for release in 2008"
  The character of Lexie, the granddaughter of Sir Richard Attenborough's character, will take the lead in the new film.
  
  The new version of the script incorporates the original cast such as Sam Neill, Richard Attenbrough and his Granddaughter - played by Ariana Richards.
  
  Keira Knightley has been strongly linked with a role in the movie.
  
  Steven Spielberg will once again direct the movie.
  
  Producers have brought in a Paleontologist to help on the story.
  
  There will be marine reptiles in this one and giant feathered ones too.
  
  SYNOPSIS
  
  Rumors have the story as follows:
  65 million years ago, a terrible disease plagued the Earth which brought about the extinction of the dinosaurs. In the early eighties, when In-Gen cloned the dinosaurs, they also brought this disease back with them and it has been present ever since before Jurassic Park (thus explaining the sick Triceratops and Brachiosaur). Now this disease has become fully active in the dinosaurs and they're all getting very ill. When dinosaur carcasses start washing up on the shore of Costa Rica, a team (including Alan Grant) is called out to find out what's going on. They head to the islands to study the dinosaurs and find out about the disease, known as DX. They also discover the disease is transferable to humans and could possibly bring on our own extinction.

  storyline sounds crap. why don't the dinosaurs just eat up all those characters so that we won't see any more crappy sequels in future.

  Since SPielberg is directing, there is some hope left in the series. But probem is that, the original Jurrassic park pheneomenon cant be repeated again.
  CGI monsters are not new anymore.Unless Speilberg can do something new with part 4.

  part 3 really kills the series.
  
  guess this part 4 is really going to hammer the last nails in the coffin.
