I thought the show was great!
Pity they cut short a lot of details that were included in the book...if there was more, the movie will have been even better!

It's a thought provoking movie, unless of course, you already know it's not based on facts. I watch the movie yesterday, if you're watching it after 9pm, be prepared to pay midnight cab fare. Altogether spent $50 on the cab fare alone yesterday sending my gf back in seng kang then go to my jurong home. So the ticket price is actually $70!!! Wah, sucks big time.

but i know the third book on Robert Langdon is called the Solomon Key! -
yah, they should make the movie like at least 2 1/2 hrs (like LOTK) so that enough details can be added for the plot, the characters, history, etc....
But, its otherwise a good movie!

maybe the studio will come out with a special edition extended director's cut DVD in future, a longer movie version.

the producers just wanted fame la.. this 142min movie is just too short!!
they should have came out with a mini series like 'pope john paul' or 'storm of the century' only then will we get some good stuff!
the movie is worth watching if u wanna see how the locations look like, if not, its not up to expectations.

Yesterday i saw some interviews by some americans who have watched the movie. They said it sucks and is a very complicated movie if u have not read the book. Overall, they said its terrible. No offence
I read the book, kinda nice. -
i went to JB to watch...where it was M18 equalavant there..but tickets bought ,shown and no questions asked
but i ended up dozing off and missing parts of second part..i remember seeing Ian McKellen being taken away by police(why?) and then after waking up from a doze the show was over -
Yup...just watched the show...
gave it a 4.5/5. (As one who never read the book.)
I suppose those who read the book will give it 3.5/5.
But again we all should NOT compare it with the book....cuz same as Harry Potter, LOTK, etc....
All book versions are better than movie versions mah....esp...some of Harry Potter's movies...last time also alot of people like that comment....so this point is invalid and unfair for the show. -

I'm just back from Bedok Princess cinema where I caught Ron Howard's movie "The Da Vinci Code" based on Dan Brown's book, and the part of the movie I felt was really beautiful and deeply touching, was in the very last few moments of the movie in which Tom Hanks realizes the (supposedly) true location of Mary Magdalene's tomb (She rests at last beneath the starry skies...), and kneels in deep reverence before it.
The feeling of the presence of Mary Magdalene, and all of the higher spiritual energies that she represents, is such a deeply beautiful and powerful energy. That was *the* moment, of the entire movie.
So thereupon, I remembered Mary Magdalene had a brief guest appearance on last year's 2005 Hilarion Winter Solstice channeling. So I check Jon C Fox's Hilairon.com, and lo and behold! I see Jon has posted up the transcript of the 2005 Hilarion Winter Solstice channeling (thanks to volunteer transcriber Lori Dunn!).

Actually I laughed at those shallow Singapore churches with so many
shadow believers, sure many would be offended by the idea like J.C. had sex with a prostitute woman and produced such pure blood progenies like that beautiful actress. It is a movie block bluster that's all to it, and a real successful American ''movie> or make-believe and who would believe that? Many naive minds would. Just as when I saw the movie
