there was two of them, the one that died was the accomplice, sandman bailed out halfway....kinda ironic.

How sure are those people that Venom will be in the movie leh?
I'm a fan of Venom as one of Spidey's biggest foe so I kinda hope that Venom wont be in this movie. Reason being it seems theres a big focus on Spidey being consumed by evil and also they have to work on the origins of the symbiote, the villians sandman and hobgoblin, the love angle between Spidey and MJ. So much to cover.

Possible spoiler for Spiderman 3 or 4...depending on where Venom is coming out.
The cartoon version of the Venom saga if memory serves me right was split up into 2 episodes, Spidey recieving the symbiote suit, realising it gave him more power and speed at first unaware it was consuming his consciousness and making him do evil things. Through the episode he would be dealing with the evil symbiote suit who had a life of its own, controlling him, not wanting to relinquish its host. It ends with Peter finally able to rip it off at a church (loud noise from the bell in the bell tower hurts the symbiote giving Peter a chance to rip it off) and it latching itself onto another victim in Eddie Brock; some loser reporter who hates Spiderman for inadvertantly costing him his job. Next episode starts off with Venom wreaking havoc and having fantastic fights with Spidey. Venom = Brawn; Spidey, = Speed.

saw a short preview on tv mobile sometime back. it shows peter parker asleep in bed with some black ooze covering him up.
It must be venom. i remember MVC series when u play as Venom the cut scene b4 battle was the guy getting covered by black ooze. -

On that note, I now and then buy DVDs and VCDs. I see nowadays alot of those 'original copies' in alot of stores nowadays. You know, those of movies but always have chinese on the front cover and at the back? I hear even music CDs have this type also... gosh. Those are relatively cheaper cus I think they get them from HK or China or something. Other than looking pirated, and other certain personal reasons, I wanna boycott these products.
Anyone know then, where to get the 'real original' products?

ps: Is your sig in any relation to Peter Parker? I think HMV at Orchard doesn't bring in all these non-original-looking DVDs. They have occasional discounts here and there, which makes some titles really value for money.
