Liu Cheng, a wealthy young Chinese herbal medicine entrepreneur, could never have guessed that his most trusted partner, Peng Si, is the man that is responsible for the arson of his "The Immortal Herb Store" and the death of his 7 village brothers. And to make matters worse, the dastardly Peng turns on Liu and frames him for the murders. Liu is found guilty and sentenced to death. Leaving his wife and daughter in his hometown, Liu is only having 49 days. Will Peng Have his wicked way? And will Liu be reunited with his wife and daughter?
