  Similar to the first Ice Age, the promotional material for the sequel was out in the theatres way in advance, and courtesy of the Scrat character too, up to its usual antics of getting to that elusive acorn. Here, Scrat opens the movie, and emulating the style of the first, he provides most of the laughs, also as an intermission from the actual scenes from the main cast.

  Assuming that the valley is like a bowl and it's going to be flooded, how come after the 'selected group of animals' go to the 'large boat' and after the flood is over, there still large groups of mammals and sloths arriving to meet them? Shouldn't they be dead by now? strange...

  the show is quite nice. funny, emotional and touching. however, i just hate the promotion of christianity(noah ark) in the show. it's considered a show suitable for the kids after all.
