I saw the trailer while watching X-Men 3 and it's awesome!!! Really looking forward to it now.

I saw the trailer just now. When i saw the star, abit disappointed. How predictable to have some kind of clean cut gooddy 2 shoes looking all american guy?!
But as the trailer went on It became better (though I think the star should have been less predictable). I think its darker than I though it would be. He reminds me of a paladin in one of those computer games! -
Superman returns! And in a style befitting a worldwide pop cultural icon easily recognizable from that distinctively red-yellow S-shield. Being stuck in production hell for almost 2 decades since the last movie installment, Bryan Singer has resurrected the Man of Steel for the silver screen, with an all new cast made up of fresh faces and veterans, even Marlon Brando, as Jor-El.
In the hands of lesser directors, it will be tempting to make a Superman movie consisting of mindless slugfests, capitalizing Supes' invulnerability. Early drafts of a new Superman movie wanted to do just that. In the hands of unimaginative storytellers, this same invulnerability will also prove to be a bane, and therefore translate into a bore. Singer, based on his track record of his successful X-Men movies, in massaging multiple favourite characters and telling a compelling story, weaves his brand of magic into Superman, giving us not only what everyone would come to expect, but also an extremely important factor that makes this movie a winner -

I find it abit too long. For all those not enough sleep one. Will fall asleep easily.

You know what's even more dissapointing? When the Science Centre IMAX doesn't screen the true 3D version (reports from the USA state that 20 mins of the movie had been specially converted to 3D for the IMAX; such 3D screening would involve special 3D glasses to be put on for the 20 mins), but only projects the *normal* version onto their giant IMAX screen. No glasses, no 3D effect, only a larger-than-normal-cinema screen.
And the lot of us paid over $13 per ticket ($12 per ticket + $1 service charge *per* ticket + $3 registered mail charge for entire order).
If I had known, I would have rather watched it on Bedok Princess Cinema ($5 weekday - $7 weekends).
IMO, the Superman Returns was ok, not that bad, but not that great either. Batman Begins currently still reigns undefeated, for movies of this genre. Spiderman III (2007) looks promising though. -
