Based on Ann Brashares' best-selling novel, this heartwarming coming-of-age chick flick is about one special summer in the lives of four 16-year-old good friends who are separated for the first time.
Despite having four different figures, the girls found, on a shopping trip before separation, a mysterious pair of jeans that fits each of them perfectly. They used these "magic" pants to keep in touch over the months ahead, with each girl wearing the jeans for a week to see what luck they brought her before sending them on to the next.
Though miles apart, the four friends experienced life, love and loss together in a summer they'd never forget.
Don't really enjoy chick flicks, but there is quite a bit of eye candy in this one. And the Santorini shots are absolutely beautiful.
Recommended as a dating movie.
