Kinda disappointed with the way Bunta was portrayed, its not the actor... its the character portrayed.
Basically this movie mixed, matched and squeezed the anime into that short time... the result was rojak (messy but still nice to makan)
The acting of individual characters wasn't satisfactory to me, especially with Bunta.
The couple scenes were sappy and boring, like the anime... at least that element was kept in the show. -

in a way, an underdog movie.
itsuki's gf more chio than anne (though anne herself is quite cute too
)
and itsuki acts really well. at least he brought in most of the laughs.
i agree with kopi that bunta in the show isnt quite what we expected though acting wise i think he's ok(at least ok enough to critisise jay's acting)
jay's acting is bloody stiff. he's supposed to be quiet not ACT quiet with that trademark sian pose when driving.
the evo4 driver's look is really crap. all that studs and leather. i dont think this is the evo4 driver in ID anime.
when i watched the movie and actor who plays evo 3 driver appeared, the bunch of girls behind my row were screaming his name.
wish i had a chainsaw -
i enjoyed the show pretty much. maybe it's because i wasn't holding any expectations when i watch it. somemore i'm no fan of the initial D manga or anime.
