Maybe a synopsis for each story should make things clearer:
"Be With Me is a tapestry of three stories woven around the themes of love, hope and destiny. Although the main characters come from different backgrounds and lead different lives, they all long to be with their loved one.
"Meant To Be is about an ageing provision shopkeeper grappling with loneliness. Just when he is about to give up hope, he chances upon an autobiography which changes his life.
"So In Love is the bitter-sweet chronicles of a teenage love less ordinary. A chain of events spark off a flurry of SMS's which will drastically rewrite the blueprints of their lives.
"Finding Love follows the mundane life of a middle aged security guard who has two loves in life -- food and a high flying professional who works in the same building he does. The first he indulges in with great passion, the second, alas, he can only admire from afar. He decides to bridge the divide with a letter.
"Unknown to them, these different souls will share the same stage in a play written by Fate, one which involves the themes of love, tragedy and redemption."

This is the third feature length film of internationally renowned local director Eric Khoo, and given the hype of this film's response in Cannes, I'm sure many in Singapore are eager to watch it, given that Eric Khoo's last movie, 12 Storeys, was a long 8 years ago.
Following the previous film's narrative structure, Be With Me features 3 stories (In my humble opinion, I'd like to consider it as 4 actually) carefully strung together, each with a strong common theme of loneliness, love, despair and longing. Given that the 3 stories each touch on different kinds and stages of love, I'm certain the audience can identify with it at certain points in the film's time.

And you should really hear her English... My friend was laughing at it... Yeah.. It kinda amazes me when I hear her speak her English.. But when I got to know that she actually learnt her English being BOTH DEAF and BLIND.... Now THAT, REALLY AMAZES me.... It's also EQUALLY AMAZING how we just TENDS to just LAUGH at people and criticise people for their 'shortcomings'... When what we do ourselves can't even hold a candle to them... Suddenly I just thought I get to see so many 'handicappeds' on the streets... Mentally..? -

Juz watched the show at CineLeisure... So damn nice...
Especially tt old widower who couldn't come to terms with his wife's death... He was the exact kind of nice dads that we have... lots of bottled emotions and few words... -
