Luke n Yoda are Jedis. Jedis are illegal to learn dark side powers such as lightning. we only see luke using one dark side power which is grip force(choke). Darth Vader was seduced from the emperor. I recalled int he novel version of EP6 Return of the Jedi during the confrontation btw the Emporor and Luke, Luke actrually did used an equivalent lightning of the Light Side of the Force to repel the Emporor's Dark Side lightning and in the end overwhelming the emporor and defeating him...Originally posted by progene:But lighting more powerful leh...hai..jedi shd learn dat...den more easier to win battle wif stormtropers liao....

And thus Darth Vader, or Anakin Skywalker as he was known as a Jedi, truly became "The Chosen One" to bring balance back to the Force.
