Originally posted by Gordonator:Yes, it is still a pity. I think Solo was one of the most interesting characters in the Star Wars saga.
let see, han solo is about 30++ in a new hope, if really he appear in episode III, he will be like only 10++. too young.
oops....Originally posted by Gordonator:ya loh.
u can see meh?
yes. what makes the original trilogy so classic and memorable are the characters themselves. nuke, han solo, princess leia, chewbacca, C3PO, obiwan, vader etc etc.Originally posted by Tuatau:Yes, it is still a pity. I think Solo was one of the most interesting characters in the Star Wars saga.

how i wish the same can said of the new trilogy.
i wonder who could that be?Originally posted by Tuatau:Some posters in the forums remind me of Jar Jar Binks.

anyway, jar jar brinks is one of the many reasons why episode I sux.
although it's impossible to see han solo in episode III as he will be too young. but maybe towards the end of the movie, they can dedicate a few minutes showing the aftermath of the clone war. example, vader and the emperor building the death star, luke and princess leia growing up and of course, han solo's meeting with chewbacca.Originally posted by Tuatau:Too bad fans wouldn't get to see Han Solo. It'd make an interesting sub-plot in the movie to see how Imperial cadet Solo managed to free slave Chewbacca from the hands of Imperial masters, and how "Chewie" swore a lifedebt to Solo and became his most loyal friend.
Originally posted by Gordonator:Wasn't really thinking of having that in Episode III. Was thinking more along the lines of an animated Episode III.V similar to "Clone Wars". Or a spin-off like "The Scorpion King". Just musing.

But but...y yoda have to die??? hw did he die?? he die from old age??Originally posted by Tuatau:According to fan-lore, Qui-Gon was killed in action whereas Obi-wan and Yoda gave up their lives (and bodies) to be one with the Force.
Darth Vader's death was more contentious because he apparently became one with the Force as well when he died -- evident from the last scene in "Return of the Jedi". Some fans defended that he wasn't dead yet when Luke was with him, he could have given up his life after Luke left to flee from the new Death Star.
