But a thought? E way e fight using e lightsaber durin luke days lik beri slow, not as fast as powerful as anakin days... -
that's is because during nuke's days, there's no more jedi left already except for obiwan and yoda who both pass away even before nuke finishes his training. so no 1 is left to teach nuke in saber fighting as compared to the old days where there's many jedi arounds, each master gets to train his apprentices from young.Originally posted by progene:But a thought? but then the real reason is that in the 70s, the movie budget is tight, no enough money and time to get professional instructors to train the actors. -

"If it ain't broken, don't fix it." Some old things are better left untampered with. Putting Christensen alongside old Alec Guiness in that scene was just plain messy. It confused fans who have grown up watching the original trilogy, and unlike Shaw's old benign face, Christensen's face looked pretty surly to me.
Oh well. Star Wars is Lucas' baby -- if he wants to kill it, it's his prerogative. -

YOda go yoda go!! i was so touched to see him fight. anyway, the saber fight between yoda and count dooku was the only watchable part of episode II. -
Almost cried when Yoda fought with Count Dooku? What would happen when you see his crushing defeat at the hands of Darth Sidious?
Lucas promised fans that this episode would be even darker than "The Empire Strikes Back". (Well, we already know Padme and almost all the Jedis would die anyway.)
It's seven weeks away from the premiere, but fans have started queueing outside the cinema... the wrong cinema.
