Theres this hongkong movie starring lau ching wan, its called "fei chang tu ran".
Seriously, the movie lives up to its name, all good guys and baddies died at the end of the finale gun fight. -
Primal Fear. another film with an unsuspecting ending. this movie also marks the screen debut of edward norton.

"The Usual Suspects" was pretty good.

yes. The Others was very good. i totally didn't expect it. unlike hide and seek. guessed correctly who was charlie 1/2way through the film

harry potter movies also have this kind of surprising twist to it. u never knew who's the real bad guy until the last minute. (provided u never read the book before)

"The Life of David Gale"
"Secret Window"
"Wicker Park" (and French original)
and of course "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" -

the Statue of Liberty... but the movie was so bad
greatest one that got me was The Usual Suspects...
around that time, there was Se7en.. but that was given away by the 7 deadly sins and you KNEW what the maniac was going to do to get Envy and Wrath out of the way... -
