  Actually I'm so out of touch with what is happening in Singapore but here are the shows that are showing US that I just watched.
  
  The first movie I watched when I arrived in December was Sideways
  It's about the area I'm at - Santa Barbara - so it's really exciting
  not to mention that it's REALLY funny, cynical, and romantic at the same time.
  you just have to watch this movie!
  EVERYBODY who watched it loved it!

  There's a map on the official website for every place featured in the movie and I am almost tempted to follow their route in the movie and do a little "homage" like those lord of the ring groupies in NZ

  Starring Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni
  good wonderful show
  Really makes you think about your identity especially if you are a minority in a country and you are so tempted to be assimilated and at the end of the day, do you really want to be so different?
  Wonderful funny romantic and innocent all at the same time

  The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
  Really wanted to watch it when I saw the trailer but haven't got the chance to watch it yet. My sister who watched it felt that the trailer was misleading and that it was boring and she was bored after the first 10 minutes. not really very funny. Quite slapstick?
  
  It's about this scientist acted by bill murray who wants to go hunt down some sharks to exact his revenge on them. if you watch the trailer u'd understand why it seems funny
  
  Personally, I think it's the Dumb and Dumber of the more "intellectual" spectrum. Still, dumber and dumberer.
