just came back from the marathon.
as most of us can agree, OCEANS 11 was a GOOD show. But after I watched 11 then 12, the sequel was KNS.
Not much action in the sequel. A lot more dialogues and the cast are trying to be a little bit more comical.
Yeah, they probably did succeed in the humour section.Quirky dialogues, facial expressions( Matt Damon in particular) and Spoofed up scenes (TESS actually tries to impose herself as JULIA ROBERTS in a scene with BRUCE WILLIS making a cameo appearance)
BUT the "SLICKness" of the movie was missing.
The heist this time round is less dramatic.
If you are expecting OCEANS 12 to be as good as OCEANS 11, you will be disappointed.
[b]The sequel is not as good as the first.Watch it but with less expectations to avoid disappointment.

11 was def better than 12.
i watch le.....a bit funnyOriginally posted by bismarck:caught it yesterday as i was quite bored.
generally the movie seems to loads of flashbacks that gives interesting twists to the story like no other movies. but it may have gone into overkill as the flashbacks are frequent and are rather long, so it may be a little confusing and may take a moment to think it through. just remember to bring yr brain with you.
in terms of casting, it appears it has done a good job. for example, the thieves in the movies seem to be natural, u cant seem to tell that they are just acting and the right ppl have been picked for the job too.
for example, u can tell straight away that a particular person is a interpol detective without him/her introducing him/herself.
at 2hrs, to me it seems to drag its feet a little especially when the scene shows the gang discussing plans. and this has more 'talking scenes' than oceans 11. but it isnt just banal talk, abit interesting but too long.
some scenes to watch out for, julia roberts playing tess(screen name) who tries to impersonate herself in the movie and gets exposed (......) and look out for bruce willis
there isnt much action scenes in the movie or maybe it's just oceans' style.
overall, a movie abt stealing that's in a league of its own. fluidly executed one.
note. there are so much twists in the form of flashbacks, u better boost yr brain's ram.
7.5/10

Thats called break dancingOriginally posted by KumSioJui:The movie critics who said this was a good movie should be shot. Wat a lousy movie,
when they challenged against the french guy, I tot the scenario would be like thieves stealing it from under each other's noses before the deadline was up, now dat would be very good with probably a lot of cool moves mebbe a few chases but the planning so lo sor in the end the way they steal the artifact was like stealing ribena or candy from 7-11 store wtf.
And the way the french guy tells how he stole it .. I mean wtf is dat?
Really a B- movie, waste time, waste $$ anti-climatic movie.
