Kung Fu Hustle was funny from the beginning till the end through slapstick jokes. Unlike previous Stephen Chow's films, Kung Fu Hustle incorporated a lot of computerized motions and special effects that makes the film dazzle. However, the huge input of computerized motions may ransom Kung Fu out of its lack of real 'actions'. The leading lady performed less than twenty minutes for the entire show and the real action was about 'kung fu' and dialogue was evidently lacking.
Humour: 5/5
Plot: 2/5
Watchable? Yes, especially if you need something to tickle your funny bones after so many tasteless comedies in the theatres.
if i were him, i would spend more money bribing film criticsOriginally posted by Medicated Oil:With All Great Expectations, Comes Great Disappointment.
From the various trailer released earlier, the jokes are still about the same.
They have advertised so greatly to get their capital investment back.
Dun see Stephen Chow advertising for Shaolin Soccer in the past.
May be the Biggest Flop of 2004.

I saw the show this afternoon. Hmm..no flames but its quite a LAME show. yeah, you heard that right. The jokes are'nt exactly drop dead funny. Worth a laugh, but you probably wont remember the scene after the movie.
I must say the visual effects are pretty GOOD.
Its a feel good comedy for all young and old.
I will say,
