Do you like movies that are based on a true story or the biography / life of a person?
For some reasons, I rather like movies that are based on the life or events that happened to a person. For example:
Erin Brokovich
De-Lovely (life story of composer Cole Porter)
The People versus Larry Flynt (about the guy who own Hustler magazine)
Schindler's List
Well those are my favourites (that i can think of) but here are a whole list of others:

Oh lets not forget about stories that may be a tad fictional but involves mention or features real life characters.
For example: Angels in America -
watever true story it is...there would still be an amount of tweaking involved...otherwise it'll be a tad more boring

i mean sure i understand they need to spice it up
but i like to know about real events.
real people
or maybe famous people
and how their private life really was....
i mean its gotta have certain elements of truth
but i dont think its got any similarities to reality tv at all -

Yah, I slept for 12 hours... reward myself having having done 1 paper... haha
Now got to start studying for the second one on Tues. Dunno how for the last 2 papers on Wed and Thurs. Seems like no time to study for them... Haha

usually i don't coz they use their "artistic licence" to turn it into some pile of crap... the worst culprits are the fellas who did Pearl Harbor and Titanic.. 2 of the worst movies ever
but i kinda liked movies like Gandhi..
wonder if The Motorcycle Diaries would be good? -

enemy at the gates - real story, with the exception of the little boy, and of vassily's partner being killed.
pearl harbour - while the love story is likely untrue, the battle of britain, pearl harbour itself, and Col Doolittle's raid on Tokyo. Also, during the attack at pearl harbour, at least 2 US planes did take off and went on to score majority of the kills among the attacking japanese planes, and its likely that the 2 male characters for pearl harbour were modelled after the 2 actual pilots who took off. -

oh... this one.. of all of the fact based movies, this one is the one i loved most!

about how The Beatles went through the tough times, playing dingy clubs in Hamburg... honing their craft... and their relationship with the photographer, Astrid Kirchherr...
