sounds good.Originally posted by the Bear:they are very much linked...
Before Sunrise was a movie about an american dude and a french lady who met in Europe and fell in love.. they were supposed to meet somewhere but they never did...
Before Sunset is 9 years later... a chance meeting in France... and they start to talk about their lives as they stroll around Paris.. talking about their hopes and fears and everything in their lives... even when he's already married and she has a boyfriend.. the tension between them because of their new status..
most people will hate these movies... there are no car chases, no explosions, no beginning, no end... it is just a slice of time...
and wonderful to watch..
yeah... miss the opportunity to get the Before Sunrise DVD in sydney.. its selling for only AUD$13 in hmv... damnnnnnnnnnnnnOriginally posted by RSP:sounds good.
DVD time!
ahhh. Will you be back there? Can always get them there when u're back.Originally posted by Faye Valentine:yeah... miss the opportunity to get the Before Sunrise DVD in sydney.. its selling for only AUD$13 in hmv... damnnnnnnnnnnnn
why is lost in translation good?Originally posted by the Bear:i'll say Clerks.. before Jay and Silent Bob became huge
then there's one which will never make it here.. Go Fish! about a bunch of lesbians trying to hook one of their friends up with another girl... it was nice and warm and such but the ending smooch-o-rama was unnecessary and kinda spoilt the movie...
Lost in Translation wasn't that publicised here even if it was nominated for the Oscar..
then there was El Mariachi.. the movie which made a name for Robert Rodriguez...
i also liked Killing Zoe...
lots.. just look at those which are non-mainstream, and you'll find gems in them which are not your usual Hollywood drivel...
LOL!!!Originally posted by nove:i agree. this is VERY VERY good.
irony is...
I watched equilibrium dubbed in THAI when i was in a remote hill tribe village in the middle of the hills in chiang rai. one of the kids rented the movie
talk about lack of publicity.
after that, i went all over thailand and couldnt find a copy of the movie. i still havent been able to.
I still havent watched DISC 2!!!!!!!!
Nope, didn't watch. Amelie actress is Audrey Tatou (spelling?), right?
