the movie was very low budget, advertisement was non existent. In fact it was only shown in 300 cinemas in the entire world. thats like how many percent of all the cinemas?
the movie was very well done despite its low budget and time constraint. it has some plot holes and the director had no time to edit(probably because of movie companies giving him Shit). but other than that the movie kicked ass. -

I watched equilibrium dubbed in THAI when i was in a remote hill tribe village in the middle of the hills in chiang rai. one of the kids rented the movie
talk about lack of publicity.
after that, i went all over thailand and couldnt find a copy of the movie. i still havent been able to.
I still havent watched DISC 2!!!!!!!! -

its the most romantic, intellectual and wonderful movie i've ever watched
i've watched it at least 5-7 times.
its so mellow, beautiful bossa nova music
so soothing
great great great dialogue.
so meaningful
so beautiful in its romance
oh god.. the whole thing makes a person calm and peaceful
i love it.
its the indie version of sliding doors plus 10 times more intelligent and positive.
ok ok maybe not sliding doors. english version of turn left turn right but it was BEFORE turn left turn right came out -
did i mention its funny too?

I am going to watch another not so known movie...any of you watch Amelie before? I think that it is a good movie, so tonight am going to watch another movie by the same actress...heard from my fren that it is a good movie...Title is He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not. Dunno any of you have watched it before or not...

Personal favorite's gotta be Memento. Such an innovative and intelligent film and forces the audience to actaully think hard to understand the plot. After watching it once, i can guarantee that you'll need to watch it again to clear all your doubts.

Platoon and Natural born killers... Oliver Stone?? Does he need any introduction?? Plus natural born killers written by Quentin Tarantino.. I remember this movie coming out.. it advertised itself through the violence and stuff. And Woody Harrelson was a bigtime actor then. -

i'll say Clerks.. before Jay and Silent Bob became huge
then there's one which will never make it here.. Go Fish! about a bunch of lesbians trying to hook one of their friends up with another girl... it was nice and warm and such but the ending smooch-o-rama was unnecessary and kinda spoilt the movie...
Lost in Translation wasn't that publicised here even if it was nominated for the Oscar..
then there was El Mariachi.. the movie which made a name for Robert Rodriguez...
i also liked Killing Zoe...
lots.. just look at those which are non-mainstream, and you'll find gems in them which are not your usual Hollywood drivel... -
