although the A-Team was pretty much almost one
and.. Doctor, Doctor was a short-lived sitcom.. with Matt Frewer playing Dr Mike Stratford, a deranged and almost psychotically neurotic doctor with "normal" partners.. he seems to be in a different dimension when he's interacting with everyone but somehow, the whole situation works and it's hilarious
Northern Exposure featured the very delicious Janine Turner and was about a city-slicker doctor being posted to Cicely, Alaska for his internship.. quirky and funny as hell

one of the first sitcoms i remember following is:

i grew up watching sitcoms
then they started being phased out of channel 5 because of people complaining that there was not enough focus on local products *SIGH*
then we started having shows like Triple 9. oh god. hehe
I really liked sitcoms. Some of the shows from that era includes:
Seaquest DSV
oh lordie i was 13 then make that exactly 10 years ago hahaha
and all my classmates were all crazy teeny boppers crazy about some child/teenage star. the one from this show was Jonathon Brandis

i remember when i was in uni.. one of the hostel girls said she was going to watch an episode of Days...
then saw her face.. she was surprised... said something like this:

that time i was doing a research paper about why Dallas was so popular ard the world and the impact of Dallas in some cultures.....
i watched a few episodes and i never failed to fall asleep

you must remember that during that era.. there wernt much good TV shows on... Dallas was to the people of tt period to be like the 90210 of the 90s n the OC of the present...
lettting the common man for once a week.. peek into the ives of the rich n shameless.... a TV producers receipe for a hit show... -
