I just saw it today and it was rather disappointing. Maybe cos I was expecting more battle scenes. If you are expecting battle scenes like in Troy and even King Arthur, you'll be disappointed with this one. There are barely enough battles, most of the screen play is based on conversations. More TALK than ACTION.
ANGELINA JOLIE, what's up with the accent?
Sounds fake and at times painful to listen. 
COLIN FARRELL was never convincing as Alexander.IMO that is.
And at times, ALEXANDER was potrayed more like a loser than a hero.
There's a nude scene but its not by Angelina Jolie. Ahhh...
Din know that there were so many CHANGI BAPOKS in that era till now. Expect some hair raising scenes with the "womanly males". Oh and is it true that ALEXANDER was bisexual?
Overall, I would say its not a hit. definitely NOT a must watch. Watch it only when you have time or spare cash.

"Alexander," director Oliver Stone's three-hour epic starring Irishman Colin Farrell as the youthful Macedonian warrior, opened at No. 6 with ticket sales of just $13.5 million for the three days beginning on Friday.

i suggest all to save your $8.50 and avoid this show and use it on more meaningful things, like watching the incredibles again.
